Grün's disrupted the supplements industry by transforming 60 whole-food ingredients into tasty, snackable nutrition. Their DTC success validated their playful approach, but expansion into an omnichannel strategy meant their packaging needed to work harder on shelves. Our task was to create an iconic identity balancing Grüns playful personality with scientific credibility, while showcasing both taste appeal and comprehensive nutritional benefits.

We personified Grüns unique bear-shaped gummies with a new character/logo icon. This mark is all about simplicity and modernity—no unnecessary frills, just bold, confident design. We softened the edges of the logo to keep it approachable and paired it with a bright, energetic color palette to add a friendly vibe.

As typography played a major roles in the packaging and visual identity, we customized our chosen logo typeface to create a unique brand mark that feels soft and gummy.

Creating a strong information hierarchy with brand front and center allows loyalists to find us on shelf and see the brand playfulness they know and love come to life on pack. The tasty gummy bear imagery and benefit call outs grab new consumers attention and showcase exactly what's inside the pack and it's benefits.

Grüns introduced a new kids line of products and we used color, naming and iconography to help distinguish from the adult line, while still maintaining the portfolio architecture.

[Interact was] critical to Grüns partnership with retailers and creating a unique brand system that pops on the shelves and highlights many of Grüns customers' favorite things about the brand. Early sales velocities at Sprouts have exceeded expectations!
