Type of Work: Full time

Location: Remote or in-studio at our Boulder, CO or Austin, TX locations

Start Date: November / December 2022

Pay Band: $60,000 - $90,000

Experience: 5+ years of Recruitment / HR Generalist Experience, ideally in the creative industry

ABOUT THE POSITION

Interact is a creative-led branding agency in the business of creating success for our clients through wildly effective brand experiences. Our success is deeply contingent on the people that make up our team. The role of Recruiter / HR Generalist will serve as a primary HR resource, supporting the Managing Director, and assisting the organization in various strategic HR areas with an emphasis on full- cycle recruitment including but not limited to sourcing full-time & freelance candidates, building a strong talent pipeline, career & succession planning, onboarding and compensation design. Additionally, this role will assist the Managing Director & leadership in employee relations issues and performance management guidance.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Act as the primary recruiter for new hires across the organization leading all aspects including sourcing, attracting top, diverse talent cross-department – including but not limited to Account,Creative, Strategy, Creative Services Management & New Business
  • Create a recruitment strategy with external recruiters and internal tools
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to understand hiring budgets & growth forecasts
  • Work with leadership / hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and to create compelling job descriptions
  • Source candidates for current and upcoming roles utilizing a variety of appropriate recruitment channels
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Manage all job postings & interviews, including identifying the top outlets / boards for position postings, initial candidate vetting, coordination & scheduling
  • Lead Position intake meetings and act as a liaison between hiring managers / leadership to ensure job descriptions and HR documents are clear, compliant, consistent cross-department and filed appropriately
  • Be the voice in team-wide communications detailing the positions we are looking for and new employee introductions
  • Lead Onboarding program to ensure new hire paperwork is received and that the onboard experience is professionally supported as a member
  • Draft offer term letters, job descriptions, and support fair hiring practices with a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Demonstrate ability to provide perspective around market trends, compensation practices, and to negotiate while maintaining alignment with budgets & fair pay practices
  • Serve as a thought partner to our CSM lead to reinforce company culture
  • Drive Interact’s annual employee reviews / performance management including company-wide communications, policy-writing, implementation of best practices, facilitation of meetings and partnership to leadership in delivering the proper messages to employee
  • Take appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules & regulations and/or employees who are not adequately performing
  • Address employee grievances
  • Process all resignations and involuntary terminations including preparing termination paperwork and conducting exit interviews
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees on the ground – helping to resolve employee relations
  • issues and knowing when and how to direct questions and escalate matters when needed
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to leadership (coaching, counseling, career development, etc.) with oversight from the Managing Director
  • Demonstrate the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced, quickly growing studio
