Position: Partnerships Director

Reports To: Principal

Job Details: Full-time

Salary: $130,000 - $200,000 inclusive of bonus/commission

Location: Hybrid in-studio in Austin, TX or NYC office

  • Actively participate in New Business initiatives including but not limited to: prospective client meetings, formulation of approach, proposal writing, helping to push our creative/strategy team to think differently/more nimbly where possible & internal resourcing efforts
  • Work closely with agency leadership to identify prospective partnerships & cultivate relationships/leads
  • Travel to tradeshows, new business meetings, networking events as necessary
  • Assist in shaping the structure, processes, workflow & principles of the agency
  • Provide oversight &/or mentorship to new business counterparts
  • Regularly inform the Agency Principal and Creative Services leadership on prospective project status
  • Interpret and articulate new client needs to agency team members.
  • Proactively guide new clients through the beginning projects. Educate, set and enforce boundaries where appropriate.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with external partners and internal teams.
  • Effectively and independently manage time and workload. Exercise excellent judgment while maintaining a sense of urgency and adeptly managing changing priorities.
  • Lead meetings in a professional, efficient, confident and effective manner.
  • Regularly go above and beyond expectations of agency and prospective client - you are the first line of defense in bringing in new opportunities to Interact.
  • Work to identify opportunities with our existing clients and ways that we can continue to help them succeed through cross-departmental conversations
  • Be a valued and trusted resource and confidante while staying up to date on relevant cultural trends pertaining to the food/bev industry, branding/design, innovations, and sustainability to better inform partnership conversations
  • Confidently and effectively present to all audiences (from multinationals to entrepreneurs)
  • Integrate the “brand in hand, brand in the world, brand in mind” thesis in order to continue to expand agency capabilities and project scopes
  • Be an active part and inspire thought leadership at Interact
  • Establish the cross functional relationship between creative, account, and strategy to ensure you’re pulling in the appropriate resources when having new business conversations
  • Critically approach internal communications
  • Continue to develop the Interact brief and process
  • Continue the Interact philosophy and principles as the agency and landscape shifts
  • Understand and participate in the creative process as necessary/required


  • Love meeting new people and forming meaningful relationships with your colleagues and clients

  • 10+ years of experience in the branding and/or advertising industry
  • Experience leading and supporting various types of projects from start to finish
  • Strong experience in new business and client management
  • Previous experience in a leadership position at a director level or above
  • Occasional travel required for meetings and events

$130,000 - $200,000 inclusive of bonus/commission

Starting base salary depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.

This position is eligible for bonus pay.
