Location: Remote or in-studio at our Boulder, CO or Austin, TX locations

Start Date: November / December 2022

Pay Band: $75,000 - $100,000

Experience: 5+ years leading client engagements within an agency

ABOUT INTERACT & THE ROLE

Account Supervisors at Interact are a critical part of the management of projects within the studio, as well as the mentorship of our growing Account team. They are expected to lead initiatives and/or act as support to the Account Director and help to coach the junior staff. Regardless of lead versus support role, the Account Supervisor typically acts as a main point of contact for both the internal and client teams, from the initial kickoff all the way to releasing final assets.

Beyond managing the success of a project from start to finish, the Account Supervisor will be expected to develop relationships with clients along the way as a means of building rapport, meeting current needs, expanding engagements and establishing Interact as the go-to partner for future opportunities.

It is essential to the success of the Account Supervisor role that this individual be able to collaborate with all facets of the agency, function as a strategic thought partner, groom our rising Account talent and embody a true understanding of Interact’s core values and capabilities.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Develop and maintain deep successful relationships with clients (with emphasis on Tier 1 where applicable). Know clients’ brand, business, category, organizational dynamics and challenges.Be a valued and trusted resource and confidante while staying up to date on relevant cultural trends pertaining to the food/bev industry, branding/design, innovations, and sustainability
  • Assist in shaping the structure, processes, workflow & principles of the Account team alongsideAccount Director &/or Managing Director
  • Actively participate in recruiting efforts for the Account Team as necessary
  • Support the Account Director &/or Managing Director in promoting growth / mentoring of the Jr. Account staff
  • Serve as direct report for select Account Managers / Account Coordinators
  • Provide oversight &/or mentorship on assigned accounts
  • Regularly inform the Account Director of Account Team & project status
  • Run assigned accounts internally and externally, managing day-to-day account activities including client communication and management
  • Maintain current, in-depth knowledge of work in progress
  • Keep all projects on track and ensure work proceeds according to timeline and budget. Work closely and cooperatively with the Creative Services Manager to coordinate project budgets and timelines
  • Interpret and articulate client needs to agency team members
  • Work directly with designers and strategy to guide the creation of concepts and deliverables that meet clients’ objectives. Contribute ideas & strategic thinking, actively manage research, strategy and creative initiatives
  • Take ownership of deliverables, sharing them with the client in a timely and persuasive manner
  • Proactively guide clients through projects. Educate, set and enforce boundaries where appropriate. Monitor projects for delays and scope creep. Issue change orders or take other appropriate action as needed. Properly document all client communications and approvals
  • Drive highest possible quality control in all agency services and deliverables. Ensure thorough proofreading is being conducted for presentations, mechanical files, etc. on an ongoing basis or delegate to Account Manager / Coordinator as necessary
  • Have positive, professional collaborative, “can do” attitude with external clients and internal team
  • Sell in new work/projects to current clients
  • Effectively and independently manage time and workload. Exercise excellent judgement while maintaining a sense of urgency and adeptly managing changing priorities
  • Record accurate time keeping daily into the agency's management software
  • Lead meetings in a professional, efficient and effective manner
  • Regularly go above and beyond expectations of agency and client
  • Work to identify opportunities with our clients and ways that we can continue to help them succeed
  • Identify areas of interests and growth to continue shaping your position and career, in partnership with the rest of the account team
  • Offer continued support to the new business, creative, strategy, and production teams as needed to set the whole agency up for success
  • Actively participate in New Business initiatives including but not limited to: prospective client meetings, formulation of approach, proposal writing, helping to push our creative team to think differently/more nimbly where possible & internal resourcing efforts
